One of my rituals of buying concert tickets is e-mailing managers and agents trying to get an interview with the band or artist, most of the time I have zero success or the interview falls through. Urban Cone was different, their management replied to me in probably 30 minutes. This was almost two months ago though so I didn't hold my breath until I walked into the Lincoln Hall green room and was greeted by the band responsible for my favorite album of 2015 so far: Polaroid Memories. Urban Cone is a Swedish Indie-Pop band who thrives off catchy hooks, incredible synths and unique sampling; all of these together make fantastic music. They made a stop in Chicago with The Griswolds on their summer tour. Both bands were great and brought an insane amount of energy. Before this awesome display though, I chatted with Urban Cone about everything from their new music to their possible future appearance on Behind The Music.
