To save some cash this year, get in the spirit by enjoying classic Halloween movies, that are just as good as the real thing. Beetlejuice A chilling tale of a couple that dies in a car accident, only to find themselves stuck in their house for eternity with a new living family ready to move in. Soon they’re introduced to the rambunctious, slightly inappropriate Beetlejuice in a comedic fight to win their house back. That is, until things go south and the ghosts new priority is saving the family from their own kind. 4. Halloweentown This Disney classic has become apart of Halloween culture ever since its 1998 release. The story of the Piper-Cromwell family opens the doors to the world of ghouls and monsters, when the protagonist Marnie learns that she is from a long line of witches and enters the wonderful world of Halloweentown. Soon after her arrival, her family is forced to save her long lost home before it’s gone forever. 3. Ghostbusters Who you gonna call? You guessed it, this cinema masterpiece couldn’t make it off the list, even though it’s not exactly Halloween, the ghoulish undertones make up for it. In a ghost infested New York City a group of scientists take the safety of their city into their own hands. 2. Halloween "It's Halloween; everyone's entitled to a good scare." - Loomis couldn’t have said it better and with this movie you're sure to get exactly what you’re entitled to when a six year old Michael Myers murders his older sister. After 15 years of being locked away for his crime, Myers escapes while being transferred, thirsty for his next victim. 1.Hocus Pocus A family favorite and perfect to watch on a crisp autumn night, the top of our list brings us to Salem, Mass. where a group of three angsty teens sneak into an abandoned house to seek the truth behind the old which tales they’ve grown up hearing. All fun and games until one of them sets free three evil witches. With the help of a mystical cat they must find the witches’ spell book to stop them from becoming immortal. Grab your fuzzy blankets and apple cider, to cozy up to some Halloween movies. With a few extra bucks in your pocket, because these classics don’t judge.
