Matt Walsh, Imaging: An Introduction

Hi! My name is Matthew Walsh and I am the Imaging Director for WLTL. I am a senior and am currently looking at colleges to attend. The hardest thing in my college search has been finding a school with a good radio station. I already know the major I want but finding a radio station better than Lyons Township’s has been difficult. Being able to go to a school with one of the best high school radio stations in the country is an absolute blessing. I am forever grateful for the opportunities Mr. Thomas and WLTL have provided me. But finding a college with a high school radio station better equipped or produced than WLTL has been extremely frustrating.

Schools like Kent State and Rutgers have great radio stations and they are at the top of my list for possible colleges. Kent State has a very classical and mellow sounding station, which I believe I wouldn’t mesh well with. But, whichever school I choose, whether it be Rutgers or Kent State or one I haven’t even thought of yet, WLTL has greatly prepared me for a future in radio.
