The 2026 NFL Playoffs are coming to an end as it is already time for the NFC and AFC Championships. An eventful playoffs have led to these two matchups to determine who will play in the biggest sporting event in America, the Super Bowl.

NFC - Los Angeles Rams vs Seattle Seahawks

Prediction: Seahawks win 24-20

NFC West rivals will face off in the conference championship in a matchup defined by dominance on both sides of the ball. The Seahawks enter the game with the No. 1 defense in the NFL, while the Rams counter with the league’s top-ranked offense.

Offensively, Seattle will likely rely heavily on Kenneth Walker III after Zach Charbonnet tore his ACL in last week’s matchup against the 49ers. Quarterback Sam Darnold was questionable with an oblique injury last week and, although he played, he attempted just 17 passes. If Darnold is still limited, Offensive Player of the Year favorite Jaxson Smith-Njigba may not see the same level of production.

On the Rams’ side, MVP candidate Matthew Stafford sprained the index finger on his throwing hand two weeks ago but played through the injury last week. Rams standout wide receiver Puka Nacua may need to carry the passing attack if the Rams hope to succeed against Seattle’s defense, especially with Kyren Williams struggling to find running room against the Seahawks’ strong defensive front.

Prediction: Patriots win 23-18

The biggest storyline heading into this game is Denver’s quarterback situation. Bo Nix fractured his ankle on one of the final plays against the Bills last week, bringing his season to a sudden end. That injury hands the offense to backup Jarrett Stidham, who hasn’t started a game since 2023.

Because of that, the Broncos will likely lean heavily on their defense. Denver’s pass rush leads the NFL in sacks, and its ability to pressure Drake Maye without sending constant blitzes could decide the outcome. Maye is coming off a standout second season, but this Broncos front will test him from the opening drive. For New England, getting the run game going with TreVeyon Henderson and Rhamondre Stevenson may be the key to slowing Denver’s rush and keeping Maye upright.
