Tis the season, gifts, decorations, festivities, and shopping! I know the holidays can be quite stressful with so much going on, so I put together a list of fun holiday festivities for you and your family to enjoy!
#1: Christkindlmarket
This fun and festive market is filled to the brim with German and other European goods to find! On top of that, it offers live music to listen to as you go through the plaza. It takes place in Daley Plaza, Chicago and officially closes December 24th, so if you want to visit it sometime soon, make sure to come before it’s too late!
#2: Trans-Siberian Orchestra
Are you a fan of rock music? The Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s newest performance might be for you! They will be performing “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” and will play at the Allstate Arena. Their tickets are available now and they will play on December 21st, so if you want to hear their amazing music, you better act fast!
#3: Brunch With Santa
Ever dreamed of eating brunch with Santa? Well, now you can! In this holly jolly event, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus are waiting for you at The Drake in Oak Brook! You can meet up with them on December 11th, 17th, and 18th from 10 am to 2 pm!
#4: Doggy Christmas Party
I know we all love our pets, so why don’t we hold a party just for them? In this cute and festive party, your pup can take a picture with Santa while they hold giveaways and offer drinks to the adults! It takes place in Logan Square on December 21st at 8 pm, so if you want a fun time, bring your dog and blast some carols as you come and enjoy the party!
#5: Aurora Festival of Lights
We all know and love Brookfield Zoo’s holiday lights, so why don’t we look at another light show instead and see what it has to offer. In this festival, you drive down a path decorated from head to toe in Christmas lights. This mile-long dazzling display of lights is free, although there is a parking fee, and takes place in Philips Park and runs all the way until Christmas!
