Your's Truly: Sarah's Ways to Get Rid of Fear!

Hey Blog!
Yall's name is still tbd (I got to think it out more, sorry!!!) So today! What you're in store for is my way to get rid of fear!! Super simple but the execution is what takes time to get used to!
Well, when I feel fear the most is when I have to get out of my comfort zone. Trying something new!!!
Personally, the last time I felt nervous was when I went on air for the first time last Monday!
But instead of saying,
"I can't do this!"
I thought to myself, I have to give myself a shot!
And so, I did. I showed up!
I had everything I needed. I was prepared. The last thing I had to do was tell myself; I know what I am doing and I know that I can do this.
My mindset has always been the one to scare off the fear.
Not the other way around.
Even when I don't win, I win.
The best way for me to explain that statement is, I go after what I want.
Plain and simple!
I don't let my fears hold me back! Once you give power to your fears it takes over.
Next thing you know, you're letting it control your life, and you miss out on new opportunities.
The thought of losing doesn't even cross my mind. If I get knocked down the only thing I'm thinking about is how I can get back up again.
When you are put into a win or lose situation, the only option is to win!
Not try.
Win!
My first tip to break out of fear starts from the beginning!
1. Never get in the Mindset of,
"I can only try"
The issue I have with that mindset, is it starts you off with the impression that you "aren't capable" when you're there for your own personal reasons to prove you can!
2. Your First Mindset Should be,
"I'm going to win"🏆
It's an energy shift when you first start off that way!
Of course, when you do something new, note that you're not going to be perfect. But have the confidence when going into anything, that the fact that you're taking action, you're already winning.
Big or small, it's your own personal success.
3. Have Confidence! 😃
Now, confidence can come natural to some, for others it takes time. I took time to build up my confidence. In the end, I realized having confidence really is just being okay with who you are when no one else is around. Your own judgement of your character will mean more than what anyone could ever tell you.
Being told, anything positive or negative about who you are is not going to automatically mean you are that, unless you believe it.
4. You Have all the Power!
I never lose.
I sound intense, but that's who I am! Growing up with four sisters, and being the middle child, you get held to the expectations of your older sisters, while also having to find a way to stand out. To be a good example for your younger sisters, while still being true to yourself. There's no room to let doubt in.
I never lose...
Because!!!!
I decide whether or not I want to make the best out of the situations I am placed in.
5. Do it Scared!
There is never going to be a perfect time to try something you're not used to.
It's now or never!!
Especially, when it's a once in a lifetime experience you don't want to be wondering what if I had more faith in myself and tried.
After you overcome your fear, you realize it was never you not being able to do it, but the presence of fear holding you back.
Don't let fear be the reason you can't improve.
Let fear be your motivator to win!
I believe you can accomplish what you truly want!
You only need one person to believe in you, and you can count on me to be your person!
Keep it loud! Keep it weird! And keep it YOUR'S TRULY! 💞
Lots of Love,
Sarah 🤍
