Your’s Truly: Spooky Story with Sarah!

What is up Tru-Crew!
Credits to my best friend for helping me decide the name! I really truly [hehe see what I did there] LOVE to try new things! Like so far this week I tried out puppy yoga, debate, and model united nations. And honestly, I might not know what I’m doing but at least I’m showing up!
Little life updates:
I tried out puppy yoga for the first time! In my experience, we had cavapoos and it was only thirty minutes of yoga and then the puppies were roaming! Then the last thirty minutes was dedicated to play with the puppies.

It’s an experience none like the others!
(You don’t even have to do a whole bunch of yoga! Although, I was mostly there for the puppies!)
Lyons Township Balkan Club won first place in the World Cup Tournament! I am very proud of everyone who came out and played! Also for context I’m the Vice President of Balkan club which is a new club at LT! It’s currently in pilot status so by next year we will be on the club page! We meet every other Tuesday! So our next meeting will be October 20th, in room C219!
Although it has been officially fall for the past three weeks, I decided now I will embrace the spookiness of the holidays! Which means you get to read my spooky stories series!
Our first story of the series is…
Tale of a Frozen Tail
Back when the meadows were green and the only thing you could see in the distance were trees. There lived a village where the people weren’t people, but rather so they were animals.
The kind hearted, but small brained Mr. Wolfenhiden. A young man who was the only person in the animal village decided to ask his oldest pal Mr. Fox to go fishing with him. Of course Mr. Fox decided to go with him, but as always Mr. Fox is not the most trusting animal in the meadow. So Mr. Fox says,
“Sure! I’ll bring all the gear I need but I'll meet you there.”
Mr. Wolfenhiden gets there about an hour later, because he could not read his clock, which he hanged upside down; Arrives and sees Mr.Fox with a bucket full of fish.
“YOU FISHED WITHOUT ME!!!”
Shouted Mr.Wolfenhiden fury in his eyes.
“Well the fish knew that you would be coming so I came earlier so they would think I am you.”
Not a single question crossed Mr.Wolfenhiden’s mind, it seemed rational.
“Well will you be staying?”
“Oh no! I am far too busy. But my best trick was using my tail as the fishing rod. The fish came directly to me!”
Mr. Wolfenhiden was perplexed he didn’t have a tail so this advice was no use to him. But as the hours go past and he realizes he will have no fish to bring home. He takes his pals advice and places a bunch of ropes of hay to build his tail. Then he grabs a needle and thread and sows it on.
Mr. Wolfenhiden's final plan was to sit and wait… So he waited. And waited. And waited until he realized it was no longer today, yesterday, or tomorrow. But a whole week passed. He finally calls Mr. Fox telling him his advice was horrible. To which Mr. Fox replies,
“It didn’t work because you were not patient enough. I’ll stop by and check out what you’re doing.”
It’s now night time, a full moon, and Mr. Fox is approaching the corner. But something is different about him… He no longer has a long snout but a smooshed snout. And no longer paws but longer finger nails sharp as thorns. The last thing Mr.Wolfenhiden noticed was he walked on two legs…
“I didn’t know you knew how to balance on your hind legs?”
Mr. Fox stayed in the shadows of the corner then inscribed a riddle in pig latin onto an oak tree.. Then once it's all written out a light beams down, and turns Mr.Fox into a human.
In shock Mr. Wolfenhiden looked to the moon then a red light beam struck him turning his hands to paws, his nose to a snout, and his teeth into razor blades. Until he completely transformed into a wolf. They swapped realities, Mr. Fox took his reality.
“WHAT DID YOU DO?”
Cried former Mr. Wolfenhiden to now becoming Mr. Wolf.
“It’s not permanent. All you have to do is keep your tail in the water until the moon changes again! You need patience.”
December 27th. The next moon change wouldn’t be until December. Mr. Wolf waited on the dock of the pond. Until the river turned to ice. He waited.
Until his tail was as frozen as his heart…
Wrap Up:
That was my first little spooky story which can be very true if you think about it. Not everyone will have your best interest at heart. So you have to make sure that you can become the decider of your future, and to interpret all possible outcomes of situations you put yourself in!
As Halloween approaches you can expect more holiday themed posts! Remember when you’re out on Halloween to not put all your trust in those you find closest to you.
After all it is a night of, Trick or Treat…
Keep it loud! Keep it weird! And keep it YOURS TRULY!💞
With Love,
Sarah 🤍
